Retrofit Cartridges To Fit
Gas Turbine Intake Systems

HemiPleat Filters are available in all shapes and sizes as replacement upgrade cartridges.

State-of-the-art pleating technology delivers many valuables benefits to gas turbine maintenance.

Techniques used to manufacture the media packs of the cartridge are unique and have never been applied to pulse filter cartridges for turbomachinery before. Synthetic beads hold the pleats more open and the wider speacing in the HemiPleat design give greater utilization and more effective filtration providing enhanced performance such as considerably lower pressure drop and longer service life.

  • Improve the performance or solve problems of existing gas turbine intake systems. FARR filter cartridges are made with the new PolyTech™ media, the most advanced pulse-cleaned media ever made.
  • FARR offers replacement upgrade cartridges to fit:
    - Donaldson®
    - American Air Filter®

MERV 15 Efficiency

Camfil Farr APC has standard replacement filters that are installed in thousands of turbines worldwide. In addition, we also offer the HemiPleat HE (High Efficiency) filter for super clean air. The HemiPleat HE offers an unsurpassed MERV 15 efficiency rating, yielding the industry's best filtration efficiency of 99.999 percent on 0.5 micron particles and larger.

If you reduce the pressure drop on intake filtration by one inch of static pressure, you can save hundreds of thousands of dollars per year in fuel. The HemiPleat HE stops the dust and makes your engine breathe easier.
