September 2011 – Camfil Farr Air Pollution Control (APC), a leading worldwide producer of industrial dust and fume collectors, has launched a Web 2.0 site incorporating interactive chat features, a comprehensive video library and social media.

Responding to the growing popularity of interactive tools among Internet users, the company has made the following additions to the site:

  • Video Center: A comprehensive video library covers a wide range of dust collection topics including equipment and applications, company capabilities, and even “fun” videos for entertainment. The video center menu is accessible from every page, and viewers will find topic-specific videos linked directly to appropriate areas of the site.
  • Live Chat: The newly launched live chat area provides nearly round-the-clock support from company chat operators stationed in North America, Europe and Asia. The viewer can click on a large button on the home page or a text link on any other page of the site to start a live chat (instant text messaging) session on product, sales or technical topics.
  • Social Networking: Viewers can readily link to social media utilizing the Twitter, Facebook, YouTube and industrial dust collection blog icons located on the lower left-hand menu of every page.
